With almost 40 years of municipal government experience, I bring proven leadership, financial expertise, and a lifelong commitment to public service to the residents of Cobourg.

Throughout a distinguished career in municipal government, I held senior management positions at both the local and larger city level, including the City of Toronto, Northumberland County, the Municipality of Port Hope and Hamilton Township.

During my career, I had the responsibility to prepare and deliver multi-million dollar operating and capital budgets, ensuring taxpayer dollars were managed responsibly and effectively. Leading teams of several hundred employees, I earned a reputation for accountability, sound decision making, and delivering quality public service.

As an experienced municipal spokesperson, I regularly represented various communities in the media and communicated with residents and council on important issues fostering openness, transparency and public trust.

In addition to extensive professional experience, I have served the community as a member of the Town's Budget Task Force and other municipal committees over multiple terms of council. This involvement has provided valuable insight into local priorities, long term planning, and the challenges facing residents and businesses.

I am committed to strengthening community safety, maintaining affordability, protecting essential services, and ensuring that municipal government operates with transparency and accountability, drawing on decades of experience in municipal operations, financial management and governance.

As a candidate for council, I understand the importance of balancing responsible spending with investment that supports a strong vibrant community that enhances the quality of life for all residents and businesses of Cobourg.
