AFFORDABILITY

I am running to bring strong accountable leadership to Cobourg at a time when residents are being stretched by rising costs, higher taxes, high cost of living and concerns how Cobourg council spends our money.

 

Families, seniors, businesses deserve a council that respects taxpayers and understands that affordability affects quality of life, opportunity and our community.

 

I believe Cobourg Council must focus on responsible financial management , transparent decision making and delivering strong CORE services efficiently and effectively. every dollar should be treated with care, accountability and have measurable results.

 

Cobourg needs leadership that will ask tough questions, challenge unnecessary spending and ensure residents and businesses receive value for their money.

 

Affordability also means supporting growth, encouraging local investment, protecting our downtown and small businesses and planning infrastructure improvements so future generations are not left carrying the burden.

 

I will work collaboratively with council, residents, community organizations, businesses and all levels of government to build a stronger , more affordable , more accountable Cobourg - where people feel heard, respected and confident in the future!
