EXPERIENCE

Experience isn't something you can learn after you're elected—it is earned over decades of making difficult decisions, solving complex problems, managing public resources, and being accountable to the people you serve.

For nearly 40 years, I earned that experience in senior municipal leadership with the City of Toronto and Northumberland County. I wasn't just part of local government—I was responsible for delivering results. I led hundreds of union and non-union employees, managed multi-million-dollar operating and capital budgets, developed long-term financial plans, improved services, and worked every day to ensure taxpayers received value for their money.

I understand how municipal budgets are built, how infrastructure projects are planned, how public services are delivered, and how decisions made around the council table affect every resident. I know the importance of asking tough questions, challenging assumptions, identifying risks before they become expensive problems, and making decisions based on facts—not politics.

That experience has taught me that every tax dollar must be respected. Every decision must be transparent. Every resident deserves to be heard. And every member of council has a responsibility to leave the community stronger than they found it.

Cobourg deserves leaders who can contribute from day one—leaders with the knowledge, judgment, and practical experience to make informed decisions on growth, infrastructure, community safety, financial sustainability, and the quality of services residents expect.

I am running because I believe my experience can make a difference. I will bring proven leadership, fiscal responsibility, accountability, and a commitment to always put the interests of Cobourg residents first.

I would be honoured to earn your trust and your vote.
